The open field design juxtaposes bold color against a simple, stylized floral border creating a perfect complement to the linearity of Craftsman furniture design. A rust-red border with apricot, pale, gold, gray-blue, apple green and black accents surround the rose-red ground. These exceptional rugs are meticulously hand-knotted at approximately 50-80 knots per square inch. Using high-quality New Zealand wool and colorfast Swiss chrome dyes, they ensure that each rug is not only beautiful but also durable for a lifetime. The wool is handspun, resulting in varying diameters that, when dyed, create a delightful variegated color, lending the finished rug a richness and subtle blend of colors.
