Designed by William Morris, the Black Tree embodies classic Morris elements adapted from traditional Persian motifs. A black ground surrounded by deep raspberry border with gold, green, French blue and terra cotta accents. These exceptional rugs are meticulously hand-knotted at approximately 50-80 knots per square inch. Using high-quality New Zealand wool and colorfast Swiss chrome dyes, they ensure that each rug is not only beautiful but also durable for a lifetime. The wool is handspun, resulting in varying diameters that, when dyed, create a delightful variegated color, lending the finished rug a richness and subtle blend of colors.
